The giant way
GENETICS vs TRAITS
We focus strongly on cultivating superior traits with good genetics. The truth is that with great genetics you can still have a less desirable goat, however a goat with superior traits will always out perform good or even great genetics. Look at it as genetics is the blueprint and traits the result. Personally I would consider myself a "Traitsman", cultivating traits that will produce goats that will ensure a much better chance of farming success than the tradirional way of breeding, where conformation is (mostly) the focus.
Superior traits and the benefits of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) with selective breeding.
Superior traits in our Boer goats include:
*Faster growth rates
*improved fertility
*Increased resistance to diseases
*Better adaptability to various environments
Selective breeding, potentially assisted by AI, offer advantages over traditional breeding methods, such as:
1. Accelerated progress through data-driven decision-making
2. Increased accuracy in selecting desirable traits
3. Reduced generation intervals
4. Improved genetic diversity
